The Wolds Community Transport Project was initiated by local folks in late 1980 by residents concerned about loneliness caused by the lack of transport in our rural communities.
The project was registered as a charity and remains as such with the Charity Commission. Reg no 1055288.
The project was supported financially, initially by East Lindsey District Council and West Lindsey District Council. However this support stopped when Council funds were cut by subsequent Governments and the project has been self funded independently for a the last decade.
Bus users are community groups who have affiliated to the Project. Management is delivered by a committee formed by the election of user representatives at AGM.
